Hanifa Uddin is a British-South Asian sound artist and composer who focuses on producing sonic works that delve into the struggles of mental health and interactive installations that bring joy to people in gallery spaces.
As she advances in her sound arts journey, she creates works digitally, experimenting with synthesizers while exploring the relationship between physical objects and sound, which she showcases with her Foley projects and installations. With this knowledge, she has also partaken in post-production sound roles on the side.
She has experience presenting on BT Sports Takeover where she also had the dual role of assistant sound technician. There are other art mediums she includes in her practice such as photography and fine arts which has led her to be involved in a myriad of collaborative projects with other artists such as Dead-Lock.
Current Undergrad Student at UAL. An aspiring Sound Artist and Designer. Focusing on Sound for Screen, games and compositions.
